You can keep a log of cookie dough in the refrigerator or freezer then slice, bake, and get a warm, fresh from your oven, homemade cookie whenever a cookie craving strikes.

Shaped Cookies. These cookies are shaped yourself or with molds or extruded from a cookie press or pastry bag. Shortbread can be a classic example of aid shaped cookie. In addition there are a lot of popular holiday “spritz” cookies that require a particular cookie press.
